Songs of the Past will be sold as a paid 2027 expansion. Until a price exists, the only useful “buy” action is a wishlist on a first-party store. This hub is a filter: CD Projekt Red, Fool’s Theory, the official Witcher buy router, and the storefronts those companies named. It is not a coupon page, a key-shop index, or a Discord invite dump.

CD Projekt Red and Fool’s Theory

CD Projekt Red publishes the game. Fool’s Theory is the co-developer: a Polish studio whose leadership includes Witcher 3 veterans. Remastered is a separate collaboration with Yigsoft. When a social screenshot attributes a Letten mechanic to “a CDPR tweet,” prefer a page on thewitcher.com or a cdprojekt.com news post. The May 2026 announcement lives on cdprojekt.com as well.

Support articles are more useful than marketing for PC. The requirements change CDPR posted with the expansion announcement is on the Witcher 3 support site. The Hearts of Stone / Blood and Wine merge into Complete Edition has its own support FAQ. If your library did not flip, that FAQ is the page to follow — not a Reddit thread with a screenshot of someone else’s Steam depot.

The official buy router

thewitcher.com/buy is CDPR’s platform-and-store picker for Songs of the Past. It is the URL this wiki will keep repeating because regional PlayStation, Nintendo, Epic, and Battle.net tiles move, while this router is supposed to point at whatever SKU is live in your region. If a third-party site wraps those URLs in a tracking redirect, skip it. Copy the domain. CDPR will not put a 2027 paid expansion exclusively on a giveaway landing page with a survey.

The Witcher YouTube channel is where the teaser (SB3siHVCHpY), the gamescom supercut (G3kuMWediSQ), and the soundtrack EP (tIPc6pCbuWk) actually live. Twitch: cdprojektred hosted REDstreams during gamescom. @thewitcher is the account this wiki lists in site metadata. Fool’s Theory’s own account is a co-dev channel, not a second store.

Do not treat a fan upload titled “Songs of the Past full gameplay leak” as official even if it steals the key art. If the description has no CDPR channel name, it is not a patch note.

How to verify a link before you click buy

Check the domain: steampowered.com, gog.com, xbox.com, playstation.com, nintendo.com, epicgames.com, battle.net, thewitcher.com, cdprojektred.com, cdprojekt.com, foolstheory.com, support.cdprojektred.com. Check that Songs of the Past still reads as a 2027 upcoming expansion, not a “download now” crack page. Check that Complete Edition is the base SKU and that the expansion is listed separately.
